election fiasco, first snowfall....wwaaayyy to long between blogs

Greetings everyone! ya I know, its been since October since I have posted..my humblest apologies...i've said it before and i'll say it again, i'll try to do better..honest i will...anywho..onward and upward, we got our first snow of the season last night, folowing a very loud wind and rain storm.....so its freakin cold right now!  I bought a new yarrs revenge seeing as my original one partially died......so i'm a happy camper once again! ive got a couple mental lists of atari carts i want to get in the near future....they're pretty cheap on ebay so i can collect a few gems......also, i have a mental list of nintendo carts i want to collect, namely mega man series for the original NES, theyre not cheap nowadays, but shockingily enough, ive never played mega man! so i am going to save my pennies and start collecting them......I managed to get the raking done shortly before the wind started bloing pine needles down again...grumble....sometimes wonder why i bother =) I know I've mentioned in the past, change was in the air...well, the "change" has finally revealed itself....i cant discuss it here just yet, but i'll put it this way...i read my horoscope a couple weeks ago, and the last line read "there will be changes at work" well, as amazing as it sounds, ive never considered the fact that horoscopes could be accurate, just fun to read...change is indeed happening at my work....i will reveal more about it in the coming weeks... to be honest with you, i don't feel too good about the coming change, as a matter of fact, i may be leaving this job come december.......i dont know what i'm gonna do for work, but ive got a few weeks to figure things out......like that old song says "should I stay or should I go now!!!"  lets see..what else is happening? I had an alright halloween..i did my usual tradition..to a degree..no dominoes pizza, but i did have my usual 3 bags of candy bars, buttersingers, mounds, and reeses peanut butter cups, and plenty of coke to weash it down with, and i watched the first three nightmare on elm street movies well into the wee hours of the morning......and had a lovely candy hangover in the morning! well worth it tho! at least once a year anyway!  I recently bought a couple transformers..i got bumblebee and thundercracker....they sure made them a pain to transform! but kind of cool none the less..it irks me that they decided to make bumblebee a camaro, he would have been a really cool new beetle....so much for tradition! heh...... i'm still not done with the wheel of time series yet.....ive got 4 qand 1/4 books to read before memory of light comesout in early January...i'm almost finished with winters heart..try to finish it tonight......ive got tons of other books to read so i'm looking forward to this series ending...on the other hand, i'll be sad to see it go.....oh well....such is life i guess......actually, theres another small change that has occured lately..i've started grinding my own coffee bens once again, and ive started getting up a little earlier so i can enjoy my coffee in the mornings before work, as well as my days off....ive found some real good blends and beans at rather fair prices...don francisco beans as an example...i'm drinking a hazelnut cinnamon blend right now thats out of this world..i cant wait to use it to make irish coffee this winter!!!!  speaking of booze....heh....ive managed, using good timing with sales and finding coupons, to get some really quality booze the last couple months, namely, bacardi select spiced rum, beefeater london dry gin, and a bottle of makers mark bourbon..good stuff all! i even managed to try some new brews as well....dundee sampler packs, shiner bock, brewed in shiner texas! and a few new sam adams brews! i have to enjoy the goo dlife when i can! ive even been enjoying some fine pipe tobacco and premium cigars...arturo fuente and cohibas, as far as cigars go.....and i picked up a coupe of very good gl pease pipe tobacco blends that i really like...latakia blends..i lllooovveeee latakia! other than that..thats about all thats going on....oh ya...the elections....cringe....shudder.....wretch.....  i finally saw proof of the depth of stupidity in this country......of course, it seems whites are becoming a minority in this country, so the precipitous drop in intelligence in this country is to be expected...so i have decided, i am going to look into leaving this country and renouncing my citizenship....may not happen right away...maybe a few years in the future..but i am out of this god forsaken dieing country..look on the bright side..i'll be able to smoke cuban cigars, and drink cuban rum, and be out of the reach of the fda if it chooses to regulate cigars and pipe tobaccos, and all tobaccos..hopefully it wont happen, but i'm not holding my breath....and seeing as the 2nd amendment may well be in trouble now that odipshit got re-elected, so it will be for the best......i may not find a country with as good of firearm laws as the us..but i can live with it......i'm not a huge gun nut by any means......but i like the idea of being able to defend myself if need be.......as previous;y mentioned, i will try to be better about regular blog postings in the future....you've heard it before, hopefully i can keep to my word thisd time ;P......until next time......

Its finally Autumn!!! oh yay!!!

Its Finally Autumn!!! the air is getting colder, leaves are turning and falling....not here..seeing as we are surrounded my pine trees..but somewhere! I took the air conditioner out of the window and i can finally open the windows and air out the place! the dollar Stores have their fall, Halloween and Christmas stuff out all at once!!!  I've never seen that before..gotta be the earliest the Christmas stuff was put out.....and just so y'all know..there's only a mere 91 shopping days left until Christmas!!! oh joy! 

 I'm not worried about December 21st...nothings gonna happen, so i am concentrating on next year.....I managed to sort through the laserdiscs i have and got rid of a whole box of them yesterday.....a lot of old movies i just wasn't interested in and they were taking up way too much space....besides, i needed the space for my new Atari 2600's! that's right, i now have 2 Ataris!  what happened was i bought one from ebay..and the seller never communicated at all, i came to find out it was her first item for sale..so i figured i got screwed and had to wait another week to file a report with eBay... so i found another screaming deal and bought it..this seller communicated perfectly....i went to the post office to pick it up, based on the tracking number telling me it was there, and i had 2 packages waiting!! i got both Ataris at the same time!!! lol!!! the first artari seller earned a neutral for not communicating...at least i have a bunch of cool games....and unfortunately, my original yars revenge seems to have died...so i bought another one......such is life i guess....anyway back to fall......

We are trying to get yard work done before it gets too cold...mom has mentioned to me it may be time to get the furnace up and running once again...i wish we had a fireplace or wood stove, but unfortunately dad seems to be allergic to wood particulates, especially burning wood particulates, so even when we had a fireplace we had to use those fake logs they sell at walmart etc....sucks, but what can ya do? I dont know whats gonna happen with my job...now we have 2 suites, the main store, and a suite full of furniture, i dont know what he plans to do over the winter..lay me off and keep the other suite? it seems very unlikely the owners of all the furniture will be will or able to come get it and bring it back in spring...so wait and see..maybe we'll get lucky and the furniture will sell throughout the winter...then again..someone could come along and buy the store and have no need for me anymore...

So there's 2 ways i could be out of a job..and thanks to o'shithead I'll be competing with illegals trying to find a job....never thought I'd see the day where real Americans would be at a disadvantage... i really thinks it imperative that we vote that freakin stupid nigger out of office before its too late....if he gets re-elected i will definitely find a way to move out of this country before its too late.....

Anyway, back to fall/winter once again....none of us are really trying to think about the holidays just yet, but its hard to ignore what with the colder weather and Christmas stuff out in stores and all.  I told mom i would put up lights this year...last year we got snow an about the only weekend i could have put em up and that kind of screwed the whole holiday season..hopefully this year will be different...

Tomorrow is my folks anniversary..46 years! its also the first of the month,.,shopping day..so i dont know what the plan is yet...as far as i know I'm off tomorrow...but that could change...he has done it before...heh...i was hoping to be able to walk to the post office tomorrow before it gets too cold to do so, but i don't know whats happening yet so i'll have to wait and see...

Well, I'm almost done with my coffee, which means I'm almost done with this blog as well...laundry is started and I'm thinking of something to eat...so i will bid you adieu... until next time....

Nothing too exciting lately to report...mom and dad went to a wedding in san diego last week, and i ended up having a pretty nice little semi vacation myself.  I made the trip to show low to dominos and got a pizza......i learned to grill chicken freakin perfectly..if i do say so myself! i scored a laserdisc player and a shitload of discs for it.....labor day weekend was rummage sale day here in town! i reactivated my netflix account...i was missing watching movies.....i watched the new conan last night..it was alright......if it wasnt frothe big titted babes throughout i twould have sucked! i watched the new fright night few days ago...it sucked.....it was nice Chris Serandon(sp?) had a small role...he was the vampire in the original fright night, in case some of you didnt know that......i updated my bluray players software finally....small update..but i had a few glitches with conan last night and it didint require a restart! first time for everything! i bought a weed whacker couple weeks ago....got the backyard cleaned up and will start working on front and side yards as weather permits...i even cleaned my garden up a bit...didnt feel like doing a garden this year..next year definately.......looks like i have a psycho bitch as a new neighbor..oh joy... she..i think it was her..was screaming at my dog last night because because she was barking at her and HER little dog......i could be wrong..but i did hear shutup!!! a few times....whether it was aimed at my dog ro not remains to be seen..i will be here on out cautious......Theres only 108 shopping days left until christmas...oh goodie.....its funny, the dollar stores have their halloween and fall stuff out 2 months ahead of time..funny thng is...it comes out a little earlier every year, and the selection gets smaller every year! still, its the only place aorund here to see fall colors......seeing as i live in pine trees......ive also noticed its getting darker earlier...at 7 pm its almost completely dark now......i'll have to figure out how to walk my dog in the winter so i'm not negotiating frozen, snow covered streets in the dark...i will probably purchase a nice coat and doggie boots so she can comfortably walk in winter..rather than sit around all winter......thats the plan anyway...we'll see what happens.......i did find a couple of interesting amiga and c64 sites recently..one was an ftp site pqacked with amiga and c64 software and cd images etc...really cool! and one has tons of amiga and c64 books and magazines on it..ive spent quite a bit of time downlaoded the last couple of weeks..and i decided to take the plunge so to speak and buy computes gazette, ahoy and cu amiga on dvd...i downloaded all issues of amiga world from one of the aforementioned sites......i also testd out a few of my floppy disks...my spindizzy and black magic still works! dont kow about the rest of them..eventually i'll get around to testing them....hopefully get my amiga hooked back up soon...other than that...nothing else exciting going on....until next time

First of all, I got a message from someone concerning lack of ham radio info on this blog...this blog isnt about teaching anything, i mention ham radio from time to time because i'm an extra class ham and president of my local radio club...this blog is not for educational purposes..i'm not a teacher in any way, shape or form..sorry o disappoint you...now..onto my latest semi annual blog post ;P  summer seems to be slowly coming to an end once again, and once again i try in vain to post regularly to this blog....from what ive been able to gather, theres only 120 shopping days until christmas 2012, or, if you will, 116 days until the end of the world...ya right, not gonna happen.......i plan on super stocking up on fireworks for new years because i am going to be celebrating the non-end of the world that night..proving all the dillusional jesus freaks wrong will be a great day indeed!!!!!! of course, if the world does come to an end, it will be because of human destruction, which we are accomplishing every day on this planet, no some non-existant god deciding tocleanse the earth...the earth will cleanse herself if humans piss her off enough..how? by letting humans be humans......on a lighter note..my room/soon-to-be-shed reorganization is moving right along......might be a winter project shed re-organization/spring cleaning.....other than that....livin life one day at a time...as usual..enjoying fine cigars once in a while again...hadn bought any in wahile, but a friend talked me into it, glad he did..and i just bought some new pipe tobacco..G.L. Pease blackpoint, and Charing cross..pretty good Latakia blends! i have to say i'm mildly impressed! I recently acquired some old commodore 64 and amiga magazines on dvd...i'm thoroughly enjoying reliving the past.....i also downloaded a shitload of c64 and amiga diskfiles ((.adf and .d64) just in case my old floppies decide to die one day...i tried a couple of my disks the other day, still working! ands i even found a bunch of c64 and amiga books hat had been scanned in...even books about the kim-1! amazingly enough!  other than that....i posted a new vblog to my youtube page..havent done one in a long time....it takes so freakin long to upload its almost not worth it...

If I've said it once, I've said it a billion times before......change is in the air......yeah yeah yeah, i know what you're thinking...as Magnum used to say.....so where is this change? I've mentioned it many times before.  well, it comes and goes, and lately, its been very noticeable...sometimes its vaguely noticeable, sometimes it overwhelmingly present..right now however, and lately, its been moderately noticeable.......i dont knwo what is happening, or what is going to happen, but something is going to happen..i don't know where, I don't know where, buts its coming.....theres also a weirdness hanging in the air lately..I dont know how long its been there, but I really started to notice it in the last couple months.....again, I dont knwo what it is, or whats going to happen, but i've the feeling something is about to happen......I hoep you all arent too confused, thats the best i can describe it.....I've got the odd feeling that my lie as i currently know it is going to change inexorably.....I'm not talking december 21 2012 change..thats not going to happen....i plan to have the mother of all fireworks parties on new years eve this year, and be lighting them well into 2013!! i mean, my life specifically......i know my fathers health isnt good, my mothers health isnt that good either.........but i dont know if thats it either...i just dont know.....I guess I have to wait and see......take life one day at a time amd take whatever comes, no matter what happens..............I'll keep you all posted......I dont knwo how to describe it except....the universe in general......seems....i dont know.....off..........I dont know if its my imagination, or what.........until next time.......enjoy the weirdness while you can, it may not last................

Is it fall yet?!?!

ok ok ok ok....I'm tired of the freakin heat already, I'm tired of no rain and drought already....sheesh!...grumble...ok, theres my rant for the day...lol! btw, theres only 167 more shopping days until christmas! not that i'm counting mind you, read it on a blog i check out pretty regularly......I even broke out my fall decorations yesterday, well, at least my fall leaf garlands i drape ove my door and window, and my little plackards that say, harvest blessings, and let it snow! of course, when it snows i'll bitch and whine about the cold then!! lets face it, if i couldnt bitch and whine about something i'd freakin explode!!! speaking of which, the 4th of July festivities here in town came and thankfully, went pretty quickly, i watched the pathetic parade as usual, and got sunburned as usual..and took picture as usual...I stayed home for the fireworks, as i freakin hate crowds!!! i heard em from the front porch, so it wasnt a total loss, and someone posted video of them on facebook, so i got to see em anyway! I did decide to treat myself Saturday night, Instead of going to the fireworks and arts and crafts show, which i might add, you have to pay to get into..what a joke...I went to the country club and had a lovely new york strip dinner! excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere, and best of all, very few people around! then i went home, walked the dog, then layed on the couch on the front porch with all windows open and listened to the fireworks and just relaxed......kind of like what I did yesterday......i did manage to set up my new printer stand, and frame a wolf image i found online and printed out, its the logo from the wheel of time series of books, a chapter logo actually, pretty cool.  And yet another rant! I bought a box of banquet fried chicken, first thing i noticed, the price has gone up..7.50 a box now, next thing i noticed, only 5 pieces now!!! what a freakin ripoff!!!! third thing i noticed, the cooking instructions completely changed, now they say you have to cook the big pieces first, then throw the smaller pieces in then cook it more!!! i cooked em all at once for 52 minutes and it was perfect! hah!!!! then the biggest thing i noticed, was the breading seems to have changed, and the flavor was different, i hated it...never buy that again, i got to the point where i no longer liked kfc...so i started buying banquet...now that banquet sucks, i may have to make fried chicken homemade....!! it would probably come out better!!! rant number 2 over...heh......I managed to throw out 2 more big bags of video tapes the other day....i'm guessing it might take 8 to 10 more to get rid of 98 percent of my old coll4ection, i am going to keep a very few tapes..but not many......i'm still saving up for a dvd burner/vcr combo so i can digitize a few tapes i dont wanna lose....time will tell i guess.....not sure what I'm gonna do tonight, probably wait until they pickup my overflowing, as usual, trashcan before i start tossing more viddie tapes......and i need to start shredding soon, ive got tons of stuff to shred......sigh..ive got so many projects half started, or half done, i dont think i'll ever get it all done...need another 3 or 4 lifetimes to complete...such is life i guess......so be it.......................until next time.............

Well well, Happy Sunday all,  We had our annaul 4th of july parade yesterday, and i had to work yesterday, which sucked, at least no customers! so i had time to go through my parade pics...a link to which is posted above......wasnt too exciting, actually, there seemed to be less people this year than last along the parade route......seems to be that way every year......from what i heard, the fireworks went pretty well, also what ive heard, the fireworks show was shorter than usual, even though the paid alot more this year for the fireworks than previeous years...hmmm......the parade was the usual, more advertising, there were 3 propane trucks in the parade, not decked out in patriotic stuff, just plain old propane trucks, it really anooys me how commercial the 4th has become.......some silly floats, but nothing spectacular....not that i was expecting anything spectacular......i did manage to get sunburned again, a yearly tradition for me, and of course my other yearly tradition, getting a foot long breakfast sandwich at subway......the town was, as usual, a madhouse, hopefully they are all going home today so we can get our quiet town back....sheesh.....and of course, unfortunately, my sister and neice came for a visit, and her car died about a mile from here, so she'll be here for a few days...grumble......such is life i guess....cant really make them walkhome....can i???? hhmmmm........ other than that, usual plans for me for a sunday, shower, then laundry......again, such is life.......until next time....
