Black friday!!!

I finally did some black Friday shopping for the first time...Sort of...I went to the local verizon store and bought a Droid 2...very nice smartphone...I absolutely love it =) Ive got facebook on it, and of course this blog, google, twitter etc...I couldnt be happier...I spent the past weekend personalizing it..new wall paper, ringtone etc...25 days until christmas, sheesh! whered the year go?!?! on a serious note...I may have been too harsh on an old friendof mine a few weeks back...We disagbree on torrents...he absolutley loves them..cant get enough of them, and I dont care for them..and we had a heated debate about it, and he quit talking to me...then he blocked me on youtube..and it made me so mad I sent him a very harsh email...I may have gone too far, I was trying to get him riled up enough to hopefully get him talking to me again, if only to get an angry reply from him, but alas, it didnt work..I was  a little too insulting I think...and if he still reads my blog, I apologize...maybe we can start over..maybe....maybe we can agree to disagree about torrents and move on...its Christmas season, a time for growing friendships and family relationships not destroy them....If he still has my email, maybe he'll message me...maybe... I really dont mind him gloating about all the cool torrents he gets...he can contnue to do so..who knows, maybe I'll get the torrent bug..who knows...until next time....

I found IT!!

I have a small, brief announcement to make... ahem

I FOUND MELLO YELLO!!!!!!! I FOUND MELLO YELLO!!!!!!! I FOUND MELLO YELLO!!!!!!! thats right folks!! I found Mello Yello at the local grocery store! Finally! after, what?, around 8 years, its finally back in arizona....and I really hope it stays here! I'll probably keep stocked up just in case it disappears again..which I hope it doesnt...I decided to celebrate by getting some nutter butters and enjoying the 2nd great combination in the history of mankind....(Mello Yello and nutter butters) the first being Coke Classic and dominoes Pizza =) my life is finally complete, I can die a happy man!! in a giant mello yello can-shaped coffin, with a Mello Yello tap sticking out of one end, so when you come visit my grave, you can have a nice refreshing drink =) can you imagine that? ROFLMAO!!! until next time

Almost Turkey day...

Alright alright alright! I hear you grumbling...its been too long since my last post, and I promised to make daily posts...funny how life gets in the way isnt it? its been several weeks...and alot has happened....first of all, I am no longer talking to an old..supposed friend, from back east...as I suspected he still hasnt grown up and still acts like a little sniveling boy just because we dont agree on torrents..he lives for torrents, sings their praises, and I dont find any thrill in piracy and stealing anymore..when we were young and stupid..fine, but not anymore, so he turned his back on me just because we had a little heated debate on the subject...childish...whatever....our friendship never really worked before..why did I think it would work now? you would think since is is in pretty bad health he wouldnt let something as insignificant as a disagreement on torrents get beteeen us..lord knows me might not have alot of time left he really shouldnt be pushing people away, dont ya think? he'll regret it...lets see..next Thursday is Thanksgiving, the day families have their yearly get-togethers to remind themselves why they stay away from each other the rest of the year...my family is no different..so far, my Mom has changed plans 5 or 6 times because everyone wants to have the meal at THEIR homes and nobody wants to go to the others persons home to have the meal...sigh....happens every year...My only hope is they go elsewhere and I get to be alone on thanksgiving day...only way I'll have any peace......I managed to get my half os the raking done before we got any kind of weather...its been freezing here for the last couple weeks..but its pretty nice now...until next time....

My Halloween tradition....

Today is Thursday, 4 days after Halloween, or Samhain, and I was finally able to pull off my complete halloween tradition... What Halloween tradition? I hear many of you asking, well, my Halloween tradition is as follows. Buy 3 bags of candy, mounds, butterfingers and reeses peanut butter cups, 2-3 bottles of coke classic, and 1 or 2 dominoes pizzas...and a stack of horror films...sometimes I watch whole series of films, last year it was all hellraisers, year before it was nightmare onelm streets, this year, it was "firsts" the first movie from multiple series, halloween, nightmare elm st, friday 13th hellraier, and the originsal nihgt of the living dead...I havent been able to pull off my full tradition in many years, but this year, I did...Mom and Dad went to phoenix to celebrate their granddaughtrers birthday on halloween day, which left me alone to party!! Anyway, my tradition goes as follows...... go to dominoes pizza and get a couple of large double cheese double pepperoni pies, eat as much of those as possible for lunch and dinner (and midnight snack/cold breakfast the next day1) all while watching horror films, then break out the candy at around 8 oclock, after I take the dogs out, then spend the rest of the evening into the wee hours watchng horro and eating candy...my once a year treat...I rarely eat candy or chocolate the est of the year...also 2 ofd the 3 2 liters of coke classic, one bottle with the pizzas, and one with the candy..as you can imagine, I couldnt sleep due to massive sugar rush =) such is life =) its rare that I can pull it off completely, but I'm glad I could this year..in case any of y'all are wondering, the closest dominoes is around 40 miles from here, which makes it a little harder to pull off =) the seasons are once again changing, the wheel of time turns and turns, the wheel of the year has turned once again, the leaves are brightly colored now, its bettng colder and colder...winter is almost here...everyone is saying we will have a mild winter this year...I'll wait and see...I joined netflix recently, If I havent mentioned it before. I had to return 3 bad star trek blurays until I finally got one that worked, barely, it froze up a few times. and after all that, the movie wasnt really that good...good effects etc....but story? kind of stupid...I watched Iron man last night, It was ok...you mean to tell me, those terrorist guys were so stupid they couldnt tell the differecne between a metal body suit and a milssile array?!?!? PUHLEASE...I hope the sequal is better...and of course Stan Lee had a cameo..playing hugh hefner ;) still a stud at his age =) what a guy =) btw, I'm on twitter now,or should I say, again... theonetruebeast if anyone is interested...I'm currently following stan Lee, hes a crazy old coot =) I'm following about 15 others, Robert englund, penn and teller etc. until next time....

Tuesday....ok...

Its once again Tuesday, and once again I'm at work..big thrill..I slept ok for a change..although my shoulder and hip and knee, all ont he right side..hurt like hell this morning..as they always do...getting worse I guess...had a doosie of a headache last night as well, I tried to watch the new Star Trek movie but netflix sent me BAD BLURAY...so I get to wait a few more days to watch it...theyre pretty good at quick replacement..they usually sip the day I drop the bad one in the mail...last movie I watched was xmen origins: wolverine..they made it pg-13 which means they wussified it for teens...so it wasnt all that good...oh well...after star trek, iron man 1 and 2..those aughta be good...my garden is still going pretty good..even tho its been extremely cold...hopefully i'll gert a few mure zucchinis and yellow squash before it finally freezes to death..whcih reminds me, I need to water it tonight...I completed my home theater finally, new subwoofer, which works great, and a lkiller universal remote..next step? I'm saving up to get a droid 2, after that? a ham radio =)...hoepfulyl I'll have ewverything by xmas...and I may be joining the local ham club as well...not much else to report...until next time...

TGIF!!.....bleh...whatever...

Its finally friday...I had an interesting week, I got all 4 things I ordered on the same day...Tuesday...my sub-woofer, my new universal remote, a bigger memory card for my Video camera, and a bluray...Wall Street to be exact...So, this weekend I have to set up the sub, program the remote,a nd watch the bluray...a full weekend...but wait, I also have to get up on the roof and clean out the gutters, possibly start raking..and god only knows what else needs to be done around the homestead...I swear, I get home from work, and work...even my weekends are work work work..story of my life....oh well...Like the old saying goes...I'll rest when I'm dead...on the other hand...its supposed to rain all weekend so I may get a reprieve from outside work, and do inside work!! oh joy...until next time
