Dinner, Christmas shopping, and a Movie...

Yup, that pretty much summed up my day today..i finished my christmas shopping, saw tron legacy, and had a McRib for dinner......Walmart was super packed, took me ten minutes to find a parking space....I ran in, found what I needed, cheaper than kmart I might add, Its funny, I got one thing at kmart, a cd for mom, that walmart didnt have, and found the inception bluray, with cool holographic cover, cheaper at kmart than walmart, but on the other hand, I found the tron legacy soundtrack at walmart cheaper than kmart..go fig...I was in  rush because I slept in too late today, woke up at the crack of noon ;) so I had to rush to get my shopping done before the movie started, and I hadnt had anything to eat all day, so I was starving by the time the movie let out...and I didnt know it was around 2 hours and 20 mins?!?!? poor dogs ate about an hour late..anyway, i was surprised mcdonalds still had the mcrib!! oh joy!! about the movie, I really liked it, great effects, kind of a flimsy story line..and a few holes noticeable to us diehard fans......Bruce Boxleitner ios looking great these days...too bad they didnt reverse age him so we could see trons face..but oh well, maybe in the next sequal, I saw a few things near the end that hinted at another sequal....I didnt see it in 3D only because my theater wasnt offering it in 3d, it was in 3d at the sister theater around 30 more miles away, this theater I went to was already around 35 miles from home...It was good to see jeff get back into his Flynn role so easily.....all in all a good movie..and now, tonight I'm going to watch inception, and quite possibly go to the circle K and get some nachos......until next time...

Interesting co-inky-dink...

I just noticed something interesting whilst I was purchasing a ticket for Tron: Legacy for this Saturday...The last move i saw was Avatar on December 19th 2009, now, Tron Legacy on December 18th 2010. which happens to be the date of a friend of mines Birthday! December 18th seems to be my once a year movie trip..hehe go figure..BTW I hope that friend of mine has a great Birthday! maybe dinner or lunch with his Dad, or a good friend, or both! do something to make your big 4-0 special, after all, you'll only turn 40 once!! Of course, once is enough for some people....hehe...I'll be turning 40 in February and ity doesnt bother me one bit..I'm of the mind set that, yes we are getting older, and no theres nothing anyone can do to stop it, or even slow it down...and al the surgeries or creams or whatever will change that....you can try to LOOK younger but your still old :P on a lighter note, Saturdy is also my "finish the xmas shopping" day...I'll go early so I can get done shopping, see the movie, then get my ass home so I can start ny Laundry etc..woo- hoo!!!  Gee, what a life I DONT have...I had a nice breakfast get-together with the local Ham Radio club...the Rim Country Amateur Radio Club this morning, unfortunately, all the smoked almonds I ate last night and night before came back to haunt me BIG TIME! I was uncomfortable durng breakfast, and almost DID'NT make it to work...At least I got paid to suffer eh? heh... in case some of you dont know, almonds have tons of fibre in them....and I think the smoke coating might have effected me as well...alls well that ends well I guess...If all goes well, and I receive the rebate check from verizon Ive been waiting for, this week, I'll be ordering my ham radio this weekend...then finally get on the air..I enjoy listening over the internet, but I'd much rather broadcast.... until nex time...!

I'm Blind!!!

Well, not quite blind, but according to the eye doctor I saw yesterday..pretty damn close..of course, its been around 15 years since my last eye exam...never-the-less, she told me Ive got poor vision, but the new glasses will help, I'll have a hard time getting used to them she also told me...I decided to get transition lenses, at least I wont forget my sunglasses anymore =) Also, she dialated my eyes, so I was blurry for a couple hours after...I did manage to drive home, but Mom had to keep telling what speed I was at, etc. I did get some really dorky paper sunglasses however...very fashionable..check em out! That pretty much took up the whole day yesterday...Today however, I spent christmas shoppping with my Dad; we went to 5 stores in one day, and I even bought him lunch, for a change...A good time was had by all, and we're both worn out... I'm still waiting for a friend of mine in WV to email me...hopefully he will....we still need to talk...maybeeven Iron some tings out...he tells me his puter is down right now......I'll keep waiting.  He has  birthday coming up On december 18th, he'll be the big 4-0! I'll be the big 4-0 on the 19th of February, so I'm not teasing him or anything, maybe I'll send him a B-day card...I'll have to dig out his address...on the job front, the place I work is on the market now, and he actually has somebody interested in it, amazingly enough...in this economy, in this market! in this town?!?!?! obviously more money thsan brains..but nonetheless, Ive decided, if and when he DOES sell the place, I'm quitting, I have no interest in working with another new owner... Ive been working at and ruinning the place for nearly ten years and I'm sick to death of Office supplies....its time to move on...my employer wont be happy, but oh well.  I dont know what I'll do, but I'll have the free time necessary to figure it out =) Who knows! maybe I'll be able to move back to Morgantown WV even sooner than I planned!! that would be friggen awesome! finally get the hell out of Arizona, I cant stand this state! we'll see......I may end up starting my own business first in order to save up the bread necessary for the move..THEN move....again, we'll see...If youve been reading my blog for awhile, you've probably noticed I've mentioned from time to time that "change is in the air", well, that feeling thats been get less and less subtle, have gotten even more noticeable lately.  I think change is really coming very soon, and its about time I start taking embracing it and take a chance for once in my patheticically wimpy life!!! A Perfect world..ya right...

Just to comment on the comment I received from an old friend....thanks for the youtube video..Huey Lewis has always been one of my favorite artists..tho i think my friend should listen to those lyrics as well.  Just because someone doesnt find the same pleasure in torrents as you do, doesnt mean you should turn your back on them. and turning your back on that someone doesnt give that someone a right to get nasty and insulting because we dont see eye to eye...looks like we've both got alot of thinking to do....emailme if you ant to..maybe we can start over =) and I really dont mind hearing about your awesome torrential exploits and adventures....later dude...you know who you are =)  until next time...

Black friday!!!

I finally did some black Friday shopping for the first time...Sort of...I went to the local verizon store and bought a Droid 2...very nice smartphone...I absolutely love it =) Ive got facebook on it, and of course this blog, google, twitter etc...I couldnt be happier...I spent the past weekend personalizing it..new wall paper, ringtone etc...25 days until christmas, sheesh! whered the year go?!?! on a serious note...I may have been too harsh on an old friendof mine a few weeks back...We disagbree on torrents...he absolutley loves them..cant get enough of them, and I dont care for them..and we had a heated debate about it, and he quit talking to me...then he blocked me on youtube..and it made me so mad I sent him a very harsh email...I may have gone too far, I was trying to get him riled up enough to hopefully get him talking to me again, if only to get an angry reply from him, but alas, it didnt work..I was  a little too insulting I think...and if he still reads my blog, I apologize...maybe we can start over..maybe....maybe we can agree to disagree about torrents and move on...its Christmas season, a time for growing friendships and family relationships not destroy them....If he still has my email, maybe he'll message me...maybe... I really dont mind him gloating about all the cool torrents he gets...he can contnue to do so..who knows, maybe I'll get the torrent bug..who knows...until next time....

I FOUND MELLO YELLO!!!!!!! I FOUND MELLO YELLO!!!!!!! I FOUND MELLO YELLO!!!!!!! thats right folks!! I found Mello Yello at the local grocery store! Finally! after, what?, around 8 years, its finally back in arizona....and I really hope it stays here! I'll probably keep stocked up just in case it disappears again..which I hope it doesnt...I decided to celebrate by getting some nutter butters and enjoying the 2nd great combination in the history of mankind....(Mello Yello and nutter butters) the first being Coke Classic and dominoes Pizza =) my life is finally complete, I can die a happy man!! in a giant mello yello can-shaped coffin, with a Mello Yello tap sticking out of one end, so when you come visit my grave, you can have a nice refreshing drink =) can you imagine that? ROFLMAO!!! until next time

Almost Turkey day...

Alright alright alright! I hear you grumbling...its been too long since my last post, and I promised to make daily posts...funny how life gets in the way isnt it? its been several weeks...and alot has happened....first of all, I am no longer talking to an old..supposed friend, from back east...as I suspected he still hasnt grown up and still acts like a little sniveling boy just because we dont agree on torrents..he lives for torrents, sings their praises, and I dont find any thrill in piracy and stealing anymore..when we were young and stupid..fine, but not anymore, so he turned his back on me just because we had a little heated debate on the subject...childish...whatever....our friendship never really worked before..why did I think it would work now? you would think since is is in pretty bad health he wouldnt let something as insignificant as a disagreement on torrents get beteeen us..lord knows me might not have alot of time left he really shouldnt be pushing people away, dont ya think? he'll regret it...lets see..next Thursday is Thanksgiving, the day families have their yearly get-togethers to remind themselves why they stay away from each other the rest of the year...my family is no different..so far, my Mom has changed plans 5 or 6 times because everyone wants to have the meal at THEIR homes and nobody wants to go to the others persons home to have the meal...sigh....happens every year...My only hope is they go elsewhere and I get to be alone on thanksgiving day...only way I'll have any peace......I managed to get my half os the raking done before we got any kind of weather...its been freezing here for the last couple weeks..but its pretty nice now...until next time....

My Halloween tradition....

Today is Thursday, 4 days after Halloween, or Samhain, and I was finally able to pull off my complete halloween tradition... What Halloween tradition? I hear many of you asking, well, my Halloween tradition is as follows. Buy 3 bags of candy, mounds, butterfingers and reeses peanut butter cups, 2-3 bottles of coke classic, and 1 or 2 dominoes pizzas...and a stack of horror films...sometimes I watch whole series of films, last year it was all hellraisers, year before it was nightmare onelm streets, this year, it was "firsts" the first movie from multiple series, halloween, nightmare elm st, friday 13th hellraier, and the originsal nihgt of the living dead...I havent been able to pull off my full tradition in many years, but this year, I did...Mom and Dad went to phoenix to celebrate their granddaughtrers birthday on halloween day, which left me alone to party!! Anyway, my tradition goes as follows...... go to dominoes pizza and get a couple of large double cheese double pepperoni pies, eat as much of those as possible for lunch and dinner (and midnight snack/cold breakfast the next day1) all while watching horror films, then break out the candy at around 8 oclock, after I take the dogs out, then spend the rest of the evening into the wee hours watchng horro and eating candy...my once a year treat...I rarely eat candy or chocolate the est of the year...also 2 ofd the 3 2 liters of coke classic, one bottle with the pizzas, and one with the candy..as you can imagine, I couldnt sleep due to massive sugar rush =) such is life =) its rare that I can pull it off completely, but I'm glad I could this year..in case any of y'all are wondering, the closest dominoes is around 40 miles from here, which makes it a little harder to pull off =) the seasons are once again changing, the wheel of time turns and turns, the wheel of the year has turned once again, the leaves are brightly colored now, its bettng colder and colder...winter is almost here...everyone is saying we will have a mild winter this year...I'll wait and see...I joined netflix recently, If I havent mentioned it before. I had to return 3 bad star trek blurays until I finally got one that worked, barely, it froze up a few times. and after all that, the movie wasnt really that good...good effects etc....but story? kind of stupid...I watched Iron man last night, It was ok...you mean to tell me, those terrorist guys were so stupid they couldnt tell the differecne between a metal body suit and a milssile array?!?!? PUHLEASE...I hope the sequal is better...and of course Stan Lee had a cameo..playing hugh hefner ;) still a stud at his age =) what a guy =) btw, I'm on twitter now,or should I say, again... theonetruebeast if anyone is interested...I'm currently following stan Lee, hes a crazy old coot =) I'm following about 15 others, Robert englund, penn and teller etc. until next time....

Tuesday....ok...

Its once again Tuesday, and once again I'm at work..big thrill..I slept ok for a change..although my shoulder and hip and knee, all ont he right side..hurt like hell this morning..as they always do...getting worse I guess...had a doosie of a headache last night as well, I tried to watch the new Star Trek movie but netflix sent me BAD BLURAY...so I get to wait a few more days to watch it...theyre pretty good at quick replacement..they usually sip the day I drop the bad one in the mail...last movie I watched was xmen origins: wolverine..they made it pg-13 which means they wussified it for teens...so it wasnt all that good...oh well...after star trek, iron man 1 and 2..those aughta be good...my garden is still going pretty good..even tho its been extremely cold...hopefully i'll gert a few mure zucchinis and yellow squash before it finally freezes to death..whcih reminds me, I need to water it tonight...I completed my home theater finally, new subwoofer, which works great, and a lkiller universal remote..next step? I'm saving up to get a droid 2, after that? a ham radio =)...hoepfulyl I'll have ewverything by xmas...and I may be joining the local ham club as well...not much else to report...until next time...

TGIF!!.....bleh...whatever...

Its finally friday...I had an interesting week, I got all 4 things I ordered on the same day...Tuesday...my sub-woofer, my new universal remote, a bigger memory card for my Video camera, and a bluray...Wall Street to be exact...So, this weekend I have to set up the sub, program the remote,a nd watch the bluray...a full weekend...but wait, I also have to get up on the roof and clean out the gutters, possibly start raking..and god only knows what else needs to be done around the homestead...I swear, I get home from work, and work...even my weekends are work work work..story of my life....oh well...Like the old saying goes...I'll rest when I'm dead...on the other hand...its supposed to rain all weekend so I may get a reprieve from outside work, and do inside work!! oh joy...until next time

Its Thursday once again...didnt we just have one a week ago? anyway, I finally completed my home..er...room theater yesterday. I got my subwoofer, and a really killer universal remote...urc-950...both are sitting in ym room waiting to be installed and configured..and I should be receiving a movie in the mail today from netflix...its called "9" a unique animated movie..cant wait to watch it =)thats abou tit..sitting at work as usual...its clouding up..we might get some rain this evening...its also been very ccol lately..fall is here finally! I got back on twitter lately..I'm following alot of the same people I followed when I first joined...what? about a couple years ago at least? cant remember...I'm theonetruebeast...on twitter..I used to be something else, but somebody stole it =) such is life...so be it...it really hasnt changed a whole lot since I was on last...I'm probably going to put it on my new cellphone when I get it hopefully next month(crosses fingers) I'm lookingto get a droid 2....be able to surf the net and gret unlimited texts again =) cant wait....until next time...

Sunday afternoon....

It is, once again, Sunday afternoon..on 10/10/10 interesting date....not alot going on this weekend..besides the fact i dont have to work saturdays anymore, at least through the winter..I was going to start raking today, but its windy and would be pointless....I'll probably start closer to the end of October when the winds leave and before snow comes...I walked to the post office yesterday, I got to break in a pair of hiking boots I found in my closet..I dont remember when I bought them, I bought them from jcpenney, thats all I know..judging by all the duston the box, theyve been there for several years...unopened...untouched..i had to pull the tissue paper out of the toes...I cant believe i would do such a thing..and they are a really good brand, wolverine..and very comfortable....I guess thats the point of hiking boots, to be comfortable...so I'm going to wear them through the winter when i dont feel like wearing my main winter boots. At least Ive got other choies now =) I ordered my Subwoofer and universal remote yesterday...I'm finally going to complete my home..er..room theater..I even bought my first bluray..well, actually the second bluray I've purchased, Avatar was the first, but it was a dvd/bluray combo so I dont consider it my first blueray. I bought Wall Street, in celebration of the new Wall Street: money never sleeps in theaters now =) my Star Trek persona is a ferengi, and as we all know, ferengis are eternally greedy, so I figured I'd better study up on greed etc...urc-r50 is the remote I bought, Ive heard lots of good things about it, including a very positive revies from a good friend of mine, so I'm goign to try it out...I'm tired of shuffling throught 7 remotes all the time....i'll let you all know how it works...I'm going to finish laundry today, and then just take it easy the rest of the day...until next time...

Thursday.....Fall!!!

Its Thursday morning right now, I'm all alone at work for a change...woo-hoo! Its been an interesting week to say the least, tornados about 200 miles from me..did alot of damage toa couple small rural mountain townsnear Flagstaff, we had some pretty good storms, but nothing compared to Phoenix and surrounding areas..huge hail...tornados etc...wow...Its just windy right now however, and bright and sunny too..=) I tried to watch Book of Eli last night, but the bluray netflix sent me was bad..my player wopuldnt recognize it...I dunno, bu the disc was practically transparent tho..bad copy maybe...I get to send it back to get a replacement...bummer...Its getting cooler here..Fall is finally upon us..I was gettng tired of the heat anyway...Mom has to have a ct scan tomorrow..,she has a spot on her lung...hope it turns out to be nothing...until next time...

Humpday....

So much for writing this blog every day...feh....anyway,m I finally got another chest of drawers....been needing one for quite awhile...theres was a tornado...yes, a tornado in Phoenix last night...might be a first..I dont know...we had pretty good storms up here the last coule days..great lightning storm Monday in the AM...about 4 am to be precise....I am going to be ordering my subwoofer and universal remote this Saturday..cnat wait, I will finally complete my home..er..room theater..been a long time coming...I still need to save up for a new cellphone, a droid2 and a ham radio...I plan to have them by christmas..jut gotta be patient and save save save...until next time....

Wowe..its been way too long siance ive written this blog...apologies...

Well Well, fall is upon us, the weather is getting milder...and Ive been neglecting this blog...its been probably a month since Ive typed anything..i am going to try to type everyday for now on....hopefully...lets see where do i begin?!?! hmm..first of all, Ive passed my technician class test so I am now a Licensed Ham radio operator...KF7LXD is my callsign...I have, however, applied for a vanity callsign...WN4GUS... a star trek reference...the ferengi leader is called the grand nagus...and speaking of star trek, I am now a card carrying member of starfleet as well..all this thanks to a good friend of mine, scott..he is into all of this as well, we found each other after 16+ years, so its all good... I finally got my bluray player hooked up and functional..after only 3 months of sitting int he cloet..hmmm...I didnt feel like running a network cable from one end of the house to the other to update the thing, so i made an update disc and did the firmware updates that way....I could then, watch Avatar in hd finally...=) i even joined netflix so I can rent all the blurays I can watch for like 10.99 a month..its a couple bucks a month extra for blurays..but oh well, its only money :P I am going to be ordering my subwoofer and killer universal remote this coming friday...finally..ive got my center channel speaker hooked up and it sounds amazing..I'll finally be able to complete my home theater...woo-hoo! I am no loner working weekends for the winter..which my employer does every year...so i was able to go to walmart yesterday morning...its nice not having to go after work for a change, I hagte getting home after 10 pm :( I boughtmy yearly halloween candy supply yesterday...butterfingers, mounds, and reeses peanut butter cups, 1 bag each...so i can carry on my yearly halloween tradition, go to dominoes and get a couple large, extra cheese and extra pepperoni pizzas and eat them for breakfat and lunch and dinner, then watch horroer movies and eat candy all night =) I love my little tradition...my dad just had his pacemaker replaced a couple weeks back..he got a much more advanced and powerful one this time..his old one, the battery started going dead after 6 plus years, so it was time to replace it...his heart isnt doing well, but this new device shoudl aid things a bit..he really needs to exercise more...mom and I wil make sure he does...not sure what winter or the holidays are going to hold for me...but I try to tske things a day at a time..no sence rushing time, theres precious little of it...I'm planning to walk to the post office today, and take some pics of the area as i go for a friend in WV, morgantown to be exact...its bright and sunny today, even tho the weather people said it would be pouring rain for 4 days straight...it did rain a bit yesterday tho...I think thats about it for now...oohh crap! it just clouded up...had to open me big mouth didnt I? sigh..oh well..if i gotta wal;k in the rain, I'll walk in the rain....until next time....

James J. Lee is correct....about many things...

James is right, the human herd has grown wwwaaayy to big..there needs to be a great culling, humans need to be held to a one baby per family law or something...too many humans using way more than the erath can keep up with..mass sterilization maybe...we sterilize animals..why not humans....and to those people that have like 10 15 20 kids?!?!?! you all need to be dragged out and shot....humans are so arrogant in their false belief they are above all else they dont see whats happening around them..like Agent smith in from the matrix said "humans are a virus" or something to that effect...there was a show on a long time ago that showed exactly how much waste one human being creates in its lifetime....if you could the mountain of crap we leave behind as we pass through life youd be physically ill..it was hurrendous...unfortunatley...theres not enough humans that feel th way I do so nothing will get done about it and humans will ultimately destroy the earth..which is going to happen in my lifetime is something isnt done about it quickly...the earth suffers, the animals of this planet are suffering greatly...wheres a new great massive plague when you need one?? give us time..its coming...not son enough, but its coming...at least James J Lee had the guts to speak out in public and actually TRY to do something about it...I'm tired of all these health channels glorifying births when all births do is add tons more garbage to this planet, kill off more species of animals needlessly and pollute the earth with another unneeded human....rest in peace brother..I hope there are more liek you out there...until next time...

Tuesday!!! Fall Already?!?!

Well, It feel like the seasons are starting to change...Its been extremely cool and windy here the last few days or so..and raining alot of them..I'm hoping fall is here..I'm sick of the heat...and not having air conditioning doesnt help things either...Ive had a pretty goot harvest from my garden so far..hopefully I'll get veggies for another month or so maybe (crosses fingers and toes) Its getting closer to test time...my ham radio test that is...only a couple more weeks...cant wait...and I cant wait to start shopping for a radio either...probably end up being an xmas present to myself judging by my finances..or lack there of...and speaking of lack there of..i'm only have one more payment to send to the infernal revenue service..then i'm caught up... at least until the next time they want money....freakin blood suckin vampires!!! hehe..maybe I should start a cayman islands account so I can hide me wealth from uncle sam, the greedy S.O.B. I wonder if they will let me start an account with 17 bucks...i'll have to give em a call ;) Or-La, my golden, got her stitches out yesterday..she seems to have healed nicely..she had a hysterectomy couple weeks ago....she a-ok now =) and speaking of A-OK, my sister had hip replacement surgery a couple weeks ago, she pulled through fine..now she has 2 fake hips....and tons of metal inher back... shes more machine than woman now...sis vader...;P until next time...

Its Saturday already..wow..how the year has just flown by..cant belive theres only like4 months til xmas..gees...well.no point worrying about the future just yet...gotta get through today first...my dog, my golden had a hysterectomy on Wednesday so she has to take it easy for 10 or so days..my other dog, even tho shes elderly, is going crazy cause we cant play until other dog is healed...oh well...my garden has reached its peak i think...I trimmed my tomato plants so much theres no new growth,,,oops...and my yellow squash isnt really prodicing anymore...we're predicted to get rain all next week so that may perk it up a a bit...other than that...until next time...

Once again, as usual..its Sunday..and once again, as usual, i'm finishing laundry, and typing this blog entry...gees my life is bloody boring...as usual :P lets see...I dont maker daily entries too often because my life isnt interesting enough, or exciting enough....lately I have been studying to take the technician class test to get my Ham radio license...i'll be taking the test on 9/11/2010..i think i may have mentioned this in an earlier blog..if i did forgive me...actually studying isnt really the word...memorizing the question pool would be a little more accurate......my thinking is..i'll memorize the questions to pass the test, then i'll start learning practical info when I can actually get hands on practical experience...alot of the questions are theoretical until you have the license to actually try what they ask...so there ya go...I was talking to a good buddy of mine last week or so...he is getting tires o the "Big City" hustle and bustle and he wants to move back to Overgaard where he lived when I met him... and I want to get out of this nowhere god forsaken town and get to civilization again...of course...he'll probably tire of small town life and i'll tire of big city hustle and bustle, and we'll end up right back where we started...notthat I have the wherewithall to leave this town mind you..but if i did....oh the monotonous possibilities... until next time...

Weird, sundays just keep coming, over and over again..strange....oh well..on with my semi annual post ;) I'm just finishing my last cup of coffee and getting ready to finish the laundry...my typical Sunday tradition, but first, breakfast..I dont know what...maybe bagel and cream cheese..maybe cereal...they had the good cereal on sale at our local store for a change, you know, trix, lucky charms etc...i'll make the big decision as soon as i get to the kitchen, after i'm done here...other than that..same old boring stuff day after day..the monotony is getting to me...i'll surely go mad, yet theres nothing that can be done..short of winning the lottery and getting the hell out of this putrid state...as far away from illegal immigrants and excessive heat as possible..maybe i'll actually start playing the lottery regularly next week......maybe i'll leave the country if i get enough moola...somewhere where faggots and illegals dont get free reign like they do in this messed up country...who knows whwre that is tho... too many bleeding hearts on the planet..no place is safe..i'll have to find somewhere..maybe..i'll buy my own private island!!! maybe Richard Branson can float me a large grant so i can realizwe this dream...i'll see if i can find his email address...hehe boy am i dreaming..this planet is screwed beyond return no matter where i go or what i do...thats whats so depressing, no matter where i go...its the same everywhere..oh well...i'm depressing the crap out of myself so i'd better end this now..or i may shoot myself over my bowl of trix...pretty grotesque picture....me face down ina large bowl of trix with the back of my head gone and blood and brain matter everywhere...gross...with a note pinned to my shirt that reads: Its the rabbits fault! Its been awhile since I posted..so i'm posting...post post post...:) anyway...been enjoying chatting with my old buddies Del and Scott back in good old Morgantown WV. same old weekend routine..with 1 small twist..I actually got to walk to the post office. Havent done that in quite some time..I wanted to go for a bike ride..but my I have to fix the brakes first...who knowwhen that'll be...Been a typical Monday so far...until next time...

Success!!! now...Saturday...

Last night I successfully broke in my new frydaddy...I made beer batter shrimp, fried zucchini in same beer batter, and french fries...Mom and Dad loved it...tho, I did make a couple rookie mistakes...one of which was I think I used a tad too much oil...it took longer than i thought to get done...I'll have to readjust next time..and i think i went overboard a bit on the breading batter...I couldve used a bit less bater on the shrimp..maybe it was just too thick, i dunno...oh well, live and learn I guess =) well, on to saturday, hopefully I can get all the laundry etc done today, so I can go on a bike ride tomorrow...or maybe just walk to the post office, havent done either in a while...actually, I have to repair the brake cable on my bike..so maybe a walk is in order...and a ride next week..who knows...we'll see =) until next time =)

Friday at last...

wow! its ben an interestingly long week..for some reason, I got back in touch with an old buddy from Morgantown WV, Its reat to be talktin to him again after all these years, we got boat loads of rain all week, I thought surely I would have to build an ark...my garden is loving it tho, Ive got zucchini and yellow squash coming out of my ears /: abnd soon to have jalapenos, new mexico chilisand tomatoes...we needed the moisture tho...I finally broke down and bought a frydaddy last week, I'm looking forward to frying some zucchini this weekend..I need to get bread crumbs and oil on the way home...I also have a big bag of shrimp thats are just screaming to be breaded and deep fried...until next time...

Ive been contacted my another old friend from Morgantown recently, havent heard anyhting for over 20 years, nice to see he is doing ok...I havent really thought about Morgantown much over the years, but now Ive got allkinds of memories coming back...like when this friend and I would try to go for a "mega midnight run" and I always got caught by my parents...bummer...we were trying to go to dominoes over by MHS high school...I dont remember if I was ever able to escape...oh well, to be young again..dominoes is about 42 miles from here..sucks..but I make the trip occasionally... I also remember always trading..er..pirating commodore 64 software, and eventually amiga software...good old days...I hope he and I can stay in touch now... until next time...

Just another freakin day...

Monday is gone, and if Wednesday gets here, I'll deal with it, but until then, theres Tuesday, and I have no idea what Tuesday has in store for me...I'm at work once agin, as usual, hence the title of this post... ive got all kinds of zucchini and yellow squash to harvest tonight, my New Mexico chilis are finally coming in, as well as my jalapenos and tomatos...I bought a frydaddy yesterday from Amazon.com, best price I could find anywhere...hopefully I'll be able to make use of all the veggies I'll have, zucchini fry anyone? and I'll be able to make hash browns, and french fries the right way, instead of mushy oven baked, It'll be used quite a bit...and I'm sure moms going to be thrilled, sarcastically speaking, she hates it when I spend money, but it was like 17.99 and free shipping, well, free shipping for 25.00 or more, so I bought a skimming spider to go with it, and that'll get used quite a bit and not just for the frier...folks will be pissed, but they'll get over it... My dog Orla, or the actual gaelic spelling...Orfhlaith, went to the vet for the first time, seems she is having problems with her female parts, so she is scheduled to be spayed, or hysterectomy in human terms in early August...I was hoping to breed her at some point, but shes too old now..so..its in her best interest...she got all her shots etc..and shes doing ok otherwise...now Ive got to get Sombra into the vet..shes elderly, but she still needs her shots, and she has lumps all over, I dont really want to know what they are, because shes way to old for any kind of aggressive treatment, but I try to keep her as healthy as I can, she take a daily regimen of aspirin and joint therapy pills to keep her going...so far so good... btw... orla is gaelic for golden lady, shes a golden retreiver, and sombra is spanish for shadow..shes a black lab....just in case you were wondering =) until next time...

Well, Ive had a quiet Sunday for a change, finished me laundry yesterday and took a ME day today, I got alot of computer work done for a change...unfortunatley, its very ho and humid and without AC its miserable, thankfully its raining right now and cooling down a bit...We had zucchine and yellow squash from my garden last night, it was great, all my veggies ar finally coming in...mom and ad spent the day sorting and organinzing picrtures and frames....lovely... until next time..

Thats right, today is Friday, and once again its been like 5 or six days since Ive done a post..and once again I apologize....this is a once again post as you can tell...not alot to report, got alot of rain lately, my garden is loving it, making some progress on starting my new business, gathering information on getting bonded and insured, I possibly have a logo already...need to get business cards etc...build webpage etc...the more I do the more that neds to be done..sheesh...oh well... until next time...

Well, Its sunday again, and as usual, I'm doing chores, finishing laundry adn washing dogs as usual...I wish I had a free sunday for once, I'm thinking about starting laundry on friday evening and washing the dogs saturday afternoon so I can have free sunday...I'll have to try that out and see how it goes...maybe next weekend i'll do an experiment... until next time... where do I begin?!?!

First of all, the nevr caught the bear...I'm glad of it...hes been through here before and didnt bother anyone, he did rummage through my trash once or twice..but no biggie, they had fish and game and the sheriffs auxiliary people out and all of them together couldnt catch one small bear..hysterical...it poured rain here all day today, now its bright sunny and humid as hell..oh well, we needed the moisture, and my garden is lving it...I talked to my friend larry in San Antonio today, his father-in-law, Tex, was visiting from california..extremely nice guy tex, he finally sent me pictures of his new puppy..adorable she is...I took another major step towards starting my own business today, I registered and bought a domain name on godaddy...ekiwi3-investments.com...and I even ordered some web design siftware from dell aswell, I should have it by the end of next week. I'll give you an idea of what my business is all about once i get things on paper and more organized...I'm really exzcited, if all goes well I'll be able to quit my stupid job and be my own boss once again =) Ive officialyl run out of dresser space, I'm shopping around for a new bigger chest of drawers...I need to go through all my clothes and figure out what can be gotten rid of, make some more room maybe...and I still need to get a powered subwoofer for my sound system, the one I got off ebay, cheap as it was, cant be used with my system..so I'm looking at one on newegg.com its a polk audio model..really nice..good prices too...well, back to my laundry, at least I get Sunday off this week =0 woohoo!! until next time...

well well, I got a friend request on facebook from an old friend form morgantown, named Scott, I havent spoken to him in probably 20 years, He is doing really well, and I look forward to talking to him regularly...the 4th of July weekend is over...hooray...too many idiots in town as usual...but its all quiet now...I had a little neighborhood excitement this morning, there was a bear in my yard, he ran away, but the game and fish people were there when I left, I only hop ethey dont hurt him, just tranq hima and release him..or her..whatever...other than that..nothing new..or exciting...its Overgaard ya know =) until next time...

Fourth of July weekend....ho hum...

Today is Saturday July 3rd and I just got back from our annual 4th of July parade..and a pathetic parade it was too....no water was allowed anywhere on the parade route, hell, people couldnt even SELL water along the route much less squirt it... the parade was a fraction of the length it usually is...it l;asted about 30 or 40 minutes or so, last year it was alot longer...I heard some parade entrants pulled out because of the "no water" edict our chamber of commerce put in place this year, or should I say "safety forces" as the chamber calls it, we all know there is no "safety forces" the chamber board makes these decisions, I know, I was a board member a few years ago...people decided since they couldnt throw water they would throw candy, and several people got nailed by flying candy near where I was standing. someone decided to rent bleachers and sell spots for 2 bucks, needles to say they didnt sell a single spot from what I heard... also, the chamber of commerce, in its infinite..er...wisdom? decided to charge 10 dollars for parking at the park and school this year, its usually 5 bucks, still too much I think, needless to say it was pretty dead at the park yesterday, and will probably pretty dead at the park and school today and tomorrow...there are several petitions going around the parade route to get the chamber to reinstate the water in the parade or get boycotted next year..from what I heard and saw...The reason water is banned from the parade...if anyone is interested...is because the people with the classic convertible cars were whining about getting wet...those poor babies :( they knew there was water in our parade, hell, even the fire department used to soak people wuith their water trucks in past yearsm, yet they signed up anyway?? if you dont want to get wet, dont enter the parade, and subsequently ruin it for everyone... I am not going to the fireworks this year as a personla protest against the chamber, that and the fact I refuase to pay five bucks to park my car much less 10 bucks...also, they raised the price for VIP parking area again as well, they stil managed to sell out tho..amazingly enough...its a small dirt parking area overlooking the spot where the fireworks are shot...and as for the park...I wouldnt pay money to park just so I can get ripped off by over priced vendors and food booths...its terrible the economy is as it is..[people are harder up for money than ever before, everyone if making less money than before and the h/o chamber of commerce decides to gouge people trying to get away from the troubles in the world for one weekend?? pathetic..I'm glad I resigned from the chamber... I am going to spend the rest of my weekend, working, and doing laundry and playing with the dogs adn tending my garden etc...at least that wont cost anything ;) ...until next time...

Its finally friday, I never thought this day would evr come..its been a long week for some reason...after my long winded post yesterday I'm not sure I have anything left to say...lets see...I didnt paint yesterday, I decided it was too hot...dad did most of it..I'm going to paint a closet today...my puny contribution...Its very overcast right now which means its a bit cooler for a change...thankfully...After searching ebay for days, Ive decided I'm going to buy a brand new subwoofer, so its goting to take awhile longer to save up for it...Christmas anyone? until next time...

This week has flown by....

I apologize for not posting regularly this week, I just realized it was thursday while I was wheeling the trash out to the street at 6 this morning...lets see...right now, Mom and dad are painting and fixing up moms home office, she decided to paintit "sea foam" it looks more like an off mint green to me. I got to dissassemble her computer and everything so they can move the desk today, I'm probably going to be painting the last wall when I get home tonight...oh joy...nah, I enjoy painting when they let me... I decided to take the plunge and I found screaming deals on a center channel speaker and a subwoofer on ebay...I got the center channel speaker ok, its an older kenwood, very heavy and solidly built, I got it for like 30 bucks..great deal, I also got the subwoofer yesterday...of course, only after it shipped did i find out I cant use it...I need a powered subwoofer with rca style connectors, not like I got, with spring loaded wire clamps...I am going to keep it for now cause I may be able to use it on my older receiver if I ever get the chance to need it...also, when I opened the box I found a white subwoofer insteadof a black one as he had listed...I'll look over the listing again, but I'm pretty sure he didnt mention it was actually white...No biggie tho... but I still need a subwoofer, I found one on newegg or a good price, and I found the needed cables on ebay for a good price, so I am goingto save up and get those in the near future, in the meantime, hopefully this weekend I'll at least got the center speaker and bluray player player setup, and I'll ad the subwoofer at a letr date...I also need a new remote for my receiver because the one I have half the buttons suddenly stopped working, I aimed it at my video camera and got no signal from around half of the buttons. In case you all are wondering, if you aim any remote at a video camera, you can see the transmitter in the end o the remote flashing...the naked eye cant see it but a video camera can... If any of you have a video camera and need to check a remote, now you know how...no flashing means dead button...or dead batteries :P I'm itching to play mario galaxy 2 again, I really havent had time... but I'm goign to make time...perhaps test my new center speaker by playing...who knows.... ALSO..speaking of my bluray player, I foud out...too late as always, that my TV cant do HD...I was under the mistaken impression it could do 720p through the component video inputs...only to open the user manual and find out its not true....So now I eed to save up fro a new TV...Ive got my eye on a 37" led lcd vizio that goes for around 600 bucks...by the time I have enough money together It'll no doubt be cheaper...(If anyone of you would like to donate to the "buy Rocky a new big lcd led tv charity fund" email me and i'll give you my email address and paypal account info :P ) Also #2, Larry, my best friend told me about this new universal remote he got from newegg, it goes for around 80 bucks, I think it would be a good investment, seeing as it never gets obsolete, you can hook it to a USB port and upgrade the firmware and download the latest code lists..something else to save up for... the Rocky tv charity fund is also taking donations for the new remote charity fund...;) ALSO #3...I come up for the "new every 2" program through verizon, I'm hoping to get the newest droid at a screaming price...sheesh...Ive got a lot of stuff to save up for...Ah Hell...jus send me all your money and we'll work ou the charuity details later =) until next time...

Happy fathers Day all...

Greetings all, its once again fathers day, and once agian I plan to make it the best day possible for me Dad, seeing as his health is such that he may not be with us much longer, I try to make everyday enjoyable..tho I often fail at it..oh well. We are going to BBQ, and moms going to make his favorite lunch..Chorizo and eggs, we got him some nice gifts he'll enjoy, hopefully, and I'm going to try to finish my chores early so we can have some together time...until next time...

Thursday? whered the week go?

WOW..once again I didnt post daily o this blog, so I'll try to make up for that...I finally got a subwoofer and center channel speaker for my home theatre...they are both on their way as I type, I won them both on ebay...they are older kenwood speakers, but I have an older kenwood receiver so it works out well, the speakers were bundled with my receiver when it was new so I know they will work fine... I went on a cleaning frenzy in my room last night..got a lot cleaned up and dusted etc...in anticipation to my speakers arriving then I can get the blueray hooked up and all the speakers..assuming I can find a place for the subwoofer, Its freakin huge... I sold another jewelry piece yesterday, a turquoise nugget ona chain..I shipped it this morning...woo hoo!! I'm on a roll =) my next project is to finish organizing the closet, It looks like its half empty now seeing as i got rid of so much crap...I'll probably work on that tonight...until next time...

Lovely Sunday

Yes, tis sunday once again...or more accurately...Sunday evening...and I actually got something accomplished today...yay! I got got done with the first stage of closet cleaning today....I got rid of a munc of crap and am ready for stage 2, rearranging and hopefully making alot more room...I rthink I'm finally going to do some serious rennovsating and rearrainging and downsizing...Ive got so much crap its unbelievable...So I think I'mon a roll...also..about my new blueray player...my TV is starting to go out..the component video inputs are no longer working and the screen is generally slightly fuzzy all of a sudden..its barely noticeable, but its slightly fuzzy and seems to be getting fuzzier every time I turn the thing on...sigh...now Ive got to save up for a new TV. I'm going to get an HD LCD of course..Just not sure which brand...whichever one is cheapest ;) My folks have a vizio that I really like...its only 60 htz tho, I think since I'm going to have HD, directv as well as blue ray I should get 120htz at least, they have 240 but those are out of my price range... and if all goes well, I'm goig to upgrade our(my and my folks) directv to HD finally so they can take advantage of their hdtv finally =) I probably wont have a new TV at that time..but it wont be long after...I'm guessing Christmas...It'll bea nice christmas present for myself =) until next time...

Here I am again..at work on a Saturday...oh well, so be it...nothing to exciting to report...I actually got up early enough this morning to get a shower and have coffee and english muffins...I rarely get up earlier than I nned to...at least I got to see my elderly Neighbor cleaning the ditch by my rear gate...why he felt he had to do that is beyond me....maybe because his ditch is emmaculate and he didnt like seeing the normal plant growth in my ditch..I dunno.... until next time...

Well well, friday once again, where does the week go....its been an unusually long week for me this week, what with waiting for my new Bluewray player to arrive, which it did yesterday afternoon, I dont have it hooked up yet, maybe this weekend..we'll see. I finally found a center chane; speaker for my system, its an older Kenwood, with 4 inch woofers and a good sized tweeter...good enough for the small room its going to be in, they used to bundle the receiver I have with the speaker I just bought off of ebay so I know itll work well...I'm cureently looking for a subwoofer on ebay...they are not much cheaper than new ones so I may just buy a new one...I dunno yet...I actually got to got for a bike ride last Saturday....It felt really good to be on the open road again, even tho it was in my own neighborhood..I'll go lot farther as the summer progreses...I talked to my buddy Larry yesterday and wished him a happy 46th birthday..he just got a new black lab puppy so he has his hands full now....until next time...

Yep, Its once again...MONDAY!! OH JOY.... I managed to wash the dogs this weekend and do laundry..pretty much what I always do on the weekends...as you can tell...I have no life... sigh....I am excited, however, that my new bleray player will be here thursday...my old cheaep-o dvd player finally died so I decided an upgrade was in order....I got a screaming deal on a pioneer blueray, practically half price!! so I cant complain. I have one blueray disc right now....Avatar...and I have decided that from now on, when I buy a movie..it will be a blueray disc instead of a DVD..f course theres some older movies and TV shows not available on blueray yet....but 99 percent of new movies I acquire will be bluerays...other than that... I finally received Maruio Galaxy 2, I've almost completed Mario Galaxy 1, I'm at Bowsers final reactor so I decided to take a break and start Mario Galaxy 2 and then work on beatig mario 1 later....because from what I understand, the game doesnt just end when Bowser is defeated, you can still go back and collect whatever powerstars you missed before..so Its a pretty anticlimactic ending from what I understand...also, I need to get through Zelda: twilight princess on WII before the new Zelda comes out later this year or early next year...I beat Twilight princess on Gamecube, but not WII yet....so I have my work cut out for me.....oh well...until next time...

wow, I haent posted in 5 days...I'm slipping..oh well, things are getting a bit busier at work...a good thing I guess...Its getting hotter and hotter here..I'm sweating my ass off sitting here typing this...I helped mom plant a tree today, Colorado Blue something...tho it really doesnt look blue...oh well, mom fell getting out of the hole...bu she is ok...I managted to wash both dogs yesterday, and today, i'm trying to finish my laundry...what a life eh?....until next time...

Its been awhile since Ive blogged and I apologize...but I had to work the WHOLE memorial day weekend, and it annoyed me to no end...I was in too bad a mood toblog..so there... So I did absolutely nothing exciting...my garden is going well, dog are doing well......getting closer and closer to beating mario galaxy...I'll have mario galaxy 2 by friday, and hopefully I'll be done with part 1 so I can start playing part 2...other than that...I bought some margarita mix and tequila so I can have a margarita when I get home tonight...assuming I'm not going to walmart...which I think I am...oh well..so be it... until next time...

working weekend

Today, is Friday....usually a day for relief because tomorrow is Saturday, I say usually because I have to work the whole freakin weekend....SCCRREEAAMM!!! ugh... oh well...Whatta ya gonna do?!?!?!? I'll probably do my monthly grocery shopping in the evening sometime this weekend..my garden is going ok, some of my plants are turning yellow and brown and I dont know why...over water, under water? who knows....until next time...

Yep, today is Wednes(Hump)day once again, and once again i realized I havent blogged in a while..so here goes...In my effort to be more positive and more productive, and healthier, Iv e ordered some good vitamins from Puritans Pride, and I also replenished my old dogs joint therapy pills also from puritans pride, I am not going to slack off this time....and speaking of slacking off, I started playing mario Galaxy night before last, I have to beat it before mario...sheesh...interrupted by another paying customer...the nerve...anyway..where was I? oh ya, I have to beat Mario Galaxy before Mario Galaxy 2 arrives, I ordered it this afternoon...so Its only right to be done with part one befdore starting part 2...My garden is doing well, I found out I over watered the crap out of it...but its doing ok now...other than that...same old same old....until next time

Sunday Sunday

Yep...today is Sunday, and were having another hurricane...sigh....have I mentioned before, I hate wind?/?!?! well I do...the dust is bad enough around here without it...I bought a moisture meter for my garden yesterday and found out i'm slowly drowning my plants...I am not going to water the garden uintil the meter quits spiking =) A huge branch fell on my roof this morning and I am going to have to go up there to get it down this time..itw wrapped around the kitchen vent pipe... thats about the 3rd brnch thats fallen this year, practically on the same spot...I hope the roof doesnt cave in...Right now I'm doing what i always do Sunday afternoons...do laundry, I managed to wash the dogs last night and didnt get my own shower until midnight..sigh..so I slepped in today..until noon =) havent done that in a long time...oh, and about the subtle feeling of change in the air i.ve been barely noticing?? its gotten a bit more noticeable, I still dont know whats going on but its getting worrysome...I started thinking about real estate investing last night, I havent thought about it in quite some time...I even dug around the closet and trash and shed to fnd one of my old business cards that I'm thinking about updating. I never actually bought any property, but i studied several courses in investing and websites etc, maybe I might actually do something this time..who knows.....I'll keep you all posted...until next time...

I just read the most enlightening email today, form a good friend in Texas...its al about life being to short and unpredictable not to try things you always wanted, eat dessert first, smell all the flowers, hang out with good friends, dont waste time beng upset or mad, DONT WORRY BE HAPPY, as Bobby McFerrin once said, I think buddha may have said something similar, anyway, I'm going to try practicing what I preach, its hard, I get ticked off vry easily and its hard to shake it off when I do, but I'm going to try anyway...Ive got to get in shape, Ive got to live each day purposefully, and not say, I'll do it tomorrow....Ive got to enjoy friends and loved ones as if there is no tomorrow...cause lord knows, we aint getting any younger...Ive just got to get in the right mindset and keep it there...It wont be easy, but Ive got to try...Things can change in an instant and its better to be content with the change as it happens then be surprised by it...until next time...

Well well, its Tuesday, and I didnt do a Monday blog either....Monday wasnt anything special, as usual...Today, tuesday, again nothing special, Ive been here alone for 2 days strait so its been nice, when I'm not interrupted by paying customers ;) Only 1 more hour left and 24, my favorite show is over, next Monday is the 2 hour series finale, I still cant believe it got cancelled..oh well, such is life..so be it. Greetings all, Its another bright sunny, pleasant Sunday afternhoon, I'm finishing up laundry, Ive got a rack of pork ribs on the grill, that I can smell while I sit here and type....I am going to wash the dogs this evening, they really need it, mom lets them roll in the dirt in the back yard so they are filthy again...sigh...I actually got to sleep in this morning for a change..that felt nice...not much else to say...until next time...

Yes, its Saturdayonce again and I'm at work once again. I'm here alone once again which makes working saturday more bearable...My day is almost over thank goodness, another 40 miutes and I get to go home....and start laundry!!! oh joy! my usual weekend activity....my garden is doing well, the zucchini and yellow squash plants are going crazy, my jalapeno plants are being eaten by something, but should survive, my new mexico chili plants are small yet but growing nicely...tomatos are growing nicely as well. Its a nice cool overcast day here for a change, no wind no freezing temps, no snow....finally...I managed to finish several more pairs of earrings last night, hopefully I'll put them on etsy monday or sooner...I think I'm going to watch a movie I bought tonight, its called good night and good luck...aughta be a good flik... until next time...

Its Friday once again, big deal, I have to work tomorrow as usual....nothing at all exciting yesterday, or today for that matter, besides the fact I've been sick for abnout 3 weeks now and am getting tired of the incessent coughing....other than that...nada whole lada...until next time...

Hump Day!!!

Well well, Its wednesday once again...and once again., nothings going on..as usual...the hurricane is over finally...we had upwards of 70 mph winds yesterday all day...it was pretty scary....but its calm and cool right now, and thankfully my little garden survived...I bought a new, well, used DVD, but new to me yesterday..itsa called good night and good luck, about Edward R Murrow and Senator McCarthy back in the communist paranoia days....looks to be a good flick, I'll probably watch it Fiday night, or Saturday night, not sure yet....until next time...

Tuesday?? what happened to Monday??

Gee..I missed my Monday update again..sheesh...reason being is my employer wasnt supposed to be here monday, but he was, and we were just busy enough to keep me away form the puter all day...I was feeling like crap yesterday anyway so I wasnt in the mood for typing, just looking forward to going home and collapsing..which I did...and of course I didnt get a wink of sleep last night, it was a combination of my old dog having a bad night, which she has from time to time...she cant get comfortable and decides she wants to go outsideseveral times overnight, and I couldnt get comfortable to sacve my life...I have night like that from time to time..even tho I have a really good mattress, sometimes I just cant find a comfortable position..and couple that with the fact I was either suffering a really bad cold, or my allergies are terminal, I was dieing either way...of course, weve had hurricane force winds the last few days again so all the dust and crud in the air isnt helping things any...on an up note..my employer is gone for the day so I can sit here and watch the town blow away...until next time....

Mothers day...

Today is Sunday may 9th, mothers day, happy mothers day to all mothers reading this....We dont have any major plans, I'm going to make potato salad, dads going to bbq t-bones and were going to watch the suns game together...If the wind dies down, we may even be able to eat outside..who knows....Saturday, nothing special, I had to work...ugh...tho, saturday evening, I finally lost a tooth thats been loose and crumbling for years...It didnt hurt at all, but unfortunatly, the roots are still in my gums, I'll have to keep an eye on it hopefully I wont get an infection.......until next time...oh, almost forgot, i have a miserable cold as well...grumble....

WOW! I forgot to type my daily blog today, I'm really slipping, Its not like a i was busy today...oh well...here goes... I decided to break out the bbq last night for the first cookout of the season...i grilled some burgers, oh thrill...Like i said earlier, I wasnt busy at all at work as usual..I swear, I dont know how much longer its going to stay open...I also decided, last night, to rent a movie..Sherlock Holmes starring Robert downey jr..It was actually pretty good, slow in some spots, but overall good, Downey was great in that roll, the sequal will be much better of course...I also decided to go to the Circle K and get a vat of machos...havent had em in quite some time..so there ya go...I'm waiting for mom adn dad to get home from phoenix, my aunt is doing good after her gall bladder surgery....on the road to recovery..or on the mend..as they say..whoever "THEY" is..er are...until next time...

Wednesday yay...

Well, its Wednesday once again, were over the hump and heading to the weekend...oh joy...I managed to get my garden in the ground yesaterday finally, I hope the weather stays nice for now on..I wasnt sure if my plants were going to survive on the front porch much longer...stupid weather....I think tonight, I am going to dust off the ole barbeque and cook outside...today is cinco de mayo and I dont have any mexican food, but maybe I'll pour some salsa on my burgers to celebrate ;) until next time....

Well, its Tuesday once again and as usual, nothings going on. Its a very nice day so I am hoping to get my garden in the ground today after work. I prepared the soil yesterday. It got pretty cold last night but not enough to hurt the plants I hope...... not much else to report on...until next time...

I hate Mondays!!!

Have I ever mentioned, I Hate Mondays!!?? well, I do, I went to the post office this morning, no problems, until I tried starting my car againb...battery was dead as dead could be.....I had to call Dad to get a jumop start, he took the car home and I took the truck, to save hi the trouble of having to jumpstart the car again after work...grumble....great way to srat the week eh???...until next time...

Yes, its Sunday may 2nd..and its snowing again...an actual whiteout, then the sun came out, then it hailed the size of marbles..sigh..I was going to put my gardenin the ground today...I hope my plants live long enough in the house to get them in the ground...I even bought zucchini and yellow squash plants in show low yesterday....I'll be very upset if all my plants die because of the stupid weather....on a higher note...LAAAAAA!!! just kidding...I bought avatar yesterday...it turns out its a dvd/blue-ray combo pack, so I also bought my first blue ray movie =) cheer!! it comes in a blue ray case so i got to see what one finally looks like inside and out, I like the neat latch they have...I enjoyed weatching it in 2d this time...I'll definately buy a 3d blue ray player when they come out, by then theyre be several 3d movies out...alice in wonderland, tron 2 etc...can t wait, I'll probably get a regular blue ray player in the mean time..now that I actually have a blue ray disc to enjoy......oh well, back to watching the weather..maybe i can mix the manure into the soil and put in the trim today, if the weather cooperates..doesnt look good... until next time...

Yes, its Saturday once again, and I'm siting at work...bummer... I was busy earlier, but I'm done with all that and am going to take it easy the rest of my day... a whole whopping 30 miutes...I'm going to Wal-mart after I leave here, and I might just pick up Avatar whilst I'm there...I dunno...until next time...

Friday!!! and sunny!!!

Its Friday and its bright and sunny outside...and colder than heck....It should be much warmer this weekend....I have to work saturday again...unfortunately......oh well....such is life......so be it....the new nightmare on olm street starts today...the new freddy is terrible looking and sounding.....oh well....they'll never top Roberts original performance...never....I might pick up avatar tomorrow whilst I'm at wallie world...we'll see....another day in paradise my friends....and i'm stuck here...:P until next time....

Thursday...and we have...SNOW?!?!?!?!

Thats right, Its snowing like crazy right now, capping off 3 days of hurricane force winds and cold weather. My poor little garden plants nearly dies last night, beaten nearly to death by the wind and nearly frozen to death.....they have been moved temporarily to my enclosed front porch, otherwise known as "the arizona room". I am goingto put them in the ground sunday, I have to get the soil ready by mizing in manure and mulch, Saturday afternoon, I am going to do my monthly wal-mart etc run, for groceries, and hopefully, zuchinni plants and whatever other plant that may peak my interest...heres to hoping...Its supp;oed to warm up next week, I hope it holds up for the rest of the summer....again...heres to hoping...=) until next time...

Gee, Wednesday again? the weeks flying by as usual...hopefully this weekend I'll get my garden in the ground, assuming the hurricane we are having right now doesnt blow my plants away in the mean time... I'm putting in zucchini(I have to go get zuch plants this Saturday after work, and tomatoes, jalapenos, New Mexico chiles, and whatever else I find when I go plant shopping Saturday afternoon...My annoying neighbors behind me are back up for the summer...the old lady hates dogs and likes yelling over th back fence at us and them....like it does any good...my dogs do not break any annoyance laws so theres nothng she can do about it..and I keep an eye on the yard for any foreign matter, like poisoned laced meat or anything...cant be to careful...the last 3 or so years have been quiet, she hasnt stuck her nose over the fence for a long time and I dont intend to give her any reason to..I just hope my parents do the same when i'm at work.....until next time...

I forgot to do a Sunday or Monday post...whats up with that? could it be because I was so busy sunday and so bored to tears Monday it slipped my mind?!?! well well...Sunday I finished a bunch of jewelry and leather craft projects Ive been trying to get to for a long time...my dear aunt ended being rushed to the hospital, turns out her gall bladder needed to come out...she's doing very well thank you... so I was on the phone and working on my crafts at the same time...sheesh...Monday, my employer wasnt supposed to be here, but he was anyway so we basically sat here staring at each other once again for 6 hours......ugh...today, he is gone and its been quiet...I swear, I dont know why he keeps the doors open...oh well, and Saturday as you know, I worked...it sucks, but oh well...so be it...such is life....until next time

Its 11:32 pm on a Saturday, and I had to work today....blah...my employer and I sat there and stared at each other for 4 hours....fun fun fun...He finally left and I finally ordered some much needed jewelry supplies....I'm working on a necklace right now and i have a wrapped crystal point to put online yet... maybe tomorrow I can get my latest creations online and for sale...right now, however, I'm finishing my business cards and earring cards and I'm going to be printing most of the night =) tomorrow I may start working on my garden weather permitting....until next time...

Its friday today..finally....unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow...ugh...we're starting Saturday hours this weekend....is the little extra money really worth it? I dunno...we'll see....I decided to sleep in a little longer this morning, seeing as i couldnt sleep last night, I laid in bed until 4 or so in the morning wide awake...and I dont remember when I finally fell asleep, but i must have slapped the snooze button 9 or 10 times, and had to rush to get to work on time...oh well, such is life...life goes on....so be it...etc etc... until next time...

Its Tueday morning, andso far....nothign exciting, although, last night, while watching 24 and csi miami, I finally installed nortons 2010, and even finished my business card, it'll be 2 sided, and the secondside was the sticking point, but theyre done now...I even put another set of earrings on my etsy store...I think I'm getting motivated enough to get my craft projects going in earnest...hopefully.....until next time...

mom is ok...

today is sunday, Good news, mom wasnt admitted to the hospital, she apparently pulled muscles and bruised things only, they gave her a couple shots and a prescription, and sent her home, shes doing alot better today. Yesterday, saturday, I had to go to the pharmacy in the next town over to get mom her prescription in the morning, I didint mind a bit, I enjoy road trips and i got to hit taco bell for lunch =) rest of the day??/ ummm....LAUNDRY!!! as usual, today?? taking it easy, after finishing laundry...just think how much free time I'd have if I became a full time nudist?? hmmm.....I dont think the neighbors would be too thrilled ;) until next time...

Yes, its Friday once again, I'm not sure what the weekend is going to hold, but I'm hoping for the best...It is with heavy heart I announce, I lost my last cat, Yakko, yesterday, his advanced age finally caught up with him, he was 20....quite old for a cat, we had to put him down...I was very upset most of the day yesterday. I lost my other, older cat, only 3 short weeks ago, Maxx, he passed in his sleep, he was 21...and then, mom took a really bad fall yesterday in the front yard and shes on her way tothe hospital as I type...she thought she'd be ok today, but shes still hurting badly so dads taking her to see what can be done...I dont think she broke anything, I hope, but she probably pulled muscles and maybe bruised something....until next time....

Well, Its thursday once again, one day until friday...woo!!! not a lot going on as usual, my employer is gone for the day again, and he'll be gone tomorrow as well......I managed to look over some pictures I took last weekend, they came out really nice, mostly of my golden retriever, she's a Huge ham!! she even sits infront of the tv if we ignore her too long "Look at me! Look at me!" this weekend I'm going to take a bunch of pictures of my black lab, I tried to take some shots of her last weekend but my golden kept hogging the spotlight...oh well, little furry diva ;) I mentioned a feeling of change in the air in a previous post? well, that feeling grew a touch stronger today....I still dont know what exactly if happening, but I'm paying attention in all directions and hopefully I wont miss something.....stay tuned....until next time...

Tuesday....ugh...

Well, its tuesday once again, only 3 days until Friday...gee, I sound so excited dont I?? well, I've ben a little depressed lately, it looks like its going to be the same old, summer as always, working 6 days a week, for LESS than minimum wage, at a place Ive grown to loathe, in a town Ive grown to loathe, yet, theres still the faintest sense of change, its in the air, its tingling deep in the back of my brain, and I cant seem to figure out why its there... I did do something pretty enjoyable this weekend i forgot to mention...I washed my golf clubs in the kitchen sink while watchng the masters, mom would of killed me had she seen...then I went to the driving range and had to dodge the the sprinklers, and wind, the sprinkler in the center of the range rotated slowly so every few minutes j had to back up or get soaked, of course the wind was blowing pretty good so i got soaked no matter what i did =) then the week started and my depression started again. I'm not suicidal per se, I'm not going to off myself at any moment, but i think about it alot...only think, I would never actually go through with it.....

Its Friday once again and I am going to absolutely VEG this wekend...everyone is going to be gone this weekend and I have the whole place to myself for a change, I'm going to Ace hardware to get the rest of my garden supplies, then to the grocery store, then home...then, I will become one with the couch, except for laundry, I'm taking it weasy this weekend, oh, and cleaning out my golf bag and cleaning up my golf clubs, and maybe...MAYBE go to the driving range tomorrow, if the place is open that is...and maybe...MAYBE try geocaching once again....I dunno yet, the couch is beckoning...until next time...

well well, my employer is gone for the rest of the day which means!!!....I get to sit here bored to death alone for a change....Whooppiee!!! I havent been alone here in many weeks, maybe even a month...its nice to be able to shut off the radio for a change and surf the net to my hearts content in between customers..which can be several hours apart...actually, Its the time of year when i start dusting off my golf clubs, start shopping around for new golf balls to replace all the ones i lost last year ): and maybe even add a new club to my arsenal finally. I'm considering a hybrid just to see what they are like, since Ive never even held one yet..maybe i can find one on ebay cheap...hmmm... also, I got the Ace Hardware add last night and they have the garden weasel on sale, as well as the rubber garden edging Ive been looking for to keep the water in my garden and not running across the yard. Also they have the bags of sterilized manure for .99 cents a bag for 1 cubic foot, can you believe that?!?! and i have a couple good coupons to use as well...Its looking to be a great summer, even though I may have to work Saturdays through the summer once again, I'm going to make the best of it anyway, round of golf one sunday, bike ride another sunday, walk to post office another sunday, laundry at 2 am...hehe whatever it takes....til next time...

Its extremely loud here today, they are finally putting up the wall to devide the store in half so the gym next door can have the back room for whatever....We have nail guns and saws and hammering going on right behind me, its a little hard to concentrate, but I'll get over it....now, the guy is getting a hilti gun ready so he can attach the bottom of the wall to the concrete floor... I think I'll stand outside whilst he uses it...just in case some of you dont know what a hilti gun is, its a special nail gun that uses a chemical powder charge to drive nails or whatever it drives into concrete, its basically a .38 pistol that shoots concrete nails or whatever, it also shoots .38 blanks or something equal to. well, its lunch o'clock once again....until next time...

Thats right, once again, the work week begins, only 4 days until Friday!! I had an alright weekend. Mom made a great easter dinner including a huge ham, homemade crescents, spaghetti squash, and yams.  Mom and Dad decided to color eggs Saturday night, and dont even get me started on the leftovers...can you say ham sandwiches and deviled eggs for a month?!?!?! Yummy!! Also, I attempted my first outing at geocaching, I didnt find anything, but I think i know where it is now, after looking at the hnts and user comments, its not necessarily on or in the hint item....I just didnt look around enough, next time tho....the cursed treasure will be mine!! Huzzah!!!  I even managed to get both dogs bathed last night, unfortunately after such a great and big meal we all fell asleep and the dogs ended up eating an hour late...sorry puppies :(
all in all a good weekend.  Of course, i just find out I'll probably be working saturdays all summer again....GRUMBLE.... I have GOT to get ot of this place.....job market stinks around here, but Ive got to do something......I'm sick and tired of nto being able to enjoy my summer....maybe I'll just quit and start my own business......Considering....... until next time....

Tis easter sunday today, the Mountaineers lost to Duke last night as you all know, I'm bummed but they made a great run... Mom has a ham in the oven right now, the whole house smells of ham, and sweet potatoes and whatever else she is cooking up.  I went geocaching dfor the first time today, I didnt find the cache I was looking for, I guess I'm not educated with my gps enough, it was the first time my gps has been out of the house so maybe next time...I need to read the manual which I just downloaded, and maybe I'll try again next week some time... although, I think I did find where it was supposed to be, unless I'm blind it wasnt there...maybe the muggles took it....or as i said before...I'M BLIND.  Theres always next time.  Its extremely windy today so i didnt spend alot of time out there looking, and  I drove around in circles so many times I didnt want to attract police attention...until next time...

Saturday evening...finally

well, its official, the Mountaineers lost badly to duke this evening, they have nothing to feel bad about, they played their hearts out, so I'm still proud of them......I managed to go to walmart and get my monthly shopping done today, it was a georgeous day for an outing, I even cleanedx up my garden and bought manure in preparation for planting day!!! our local nursery will have all their plants in 2 or 3 weeks, so I have time to get the soil ready etc...and, if I'm lucky, I am going geocaching tomorrow!!! YAY!! and wash the dogs tomorrow!! Double YAY!!! hehe.  It loks like its going to be another georgeous day tomorrow so heres to hoping......until next time...

Ahhhh....It is once again Friday...sucks to have to work today but oh well, such is life i guess....another exciting weekend as usual, laundry, first stirrings of spring cleaning, hopefully start working on my garden, of course the final four is on saturday, GO MOUNTAINEERS!!! probably going to walmart with Mom..dunno yet, and HOPEFULLY going geocaching for the first time...HOPEFULLY.  on a weirder note......I can feel the very faint feeling of change in the air...I cant put my finger on it, but its there, lurking in the shadows, barely noticeble....its eerie.....I'll keep you updated as things unfold......until next time...

Until Friday!!! yay!!! exciting news huh? well, not alot going on today, this is of course April 1,2010, April fools day, but no joking today...I decided not to do any pranks today so just relax.........other than than that, its windy and cold here, we had a little snow last night but not enough to leave any coverage..thank fully...My old dog seems to be feeling better today...I'm so relieved.....we'll have to take it day by day for now on i guess....until next time...

Humpday.....um....

Well, its Wednesday once again, Ive managed to get over the hump and am ready for the slide to the weekend.....not alot happening as usual...its extremely windy today, about 50 mph or so...we may be getting snow tomorrow...happy spring eh?? My old dog isnt doing to well as of late, I think her old age is finally catchng up to her...I'm worried about her and I'm stuck here for another 3 hours..sigh....mortality sucks, and is inevitable....I am going to try to do a little geocaching this weekend, but I wont hold my breath...we'll see... I have been reading buddhist teachings lately and have been trying to have a positive attitude, but I've been in a bad mood this week for some reason.  It seems liek whenever i get in a good mood, something always goes wrong...I'll try again I guess.  I hope some much needed changes happen this summer, because, I dont think I can handle the monotony, tedium and boredom much longer... til next time...

Sunday happenings...

Not a real exciting Sunday, as usual...I finished my laundry, sat in the back yard for a bit seeing as it as it was such a georgeous day. If i had money I would have gone somewhere :P  I finally got my gps maps and software and firmware updated Sunday evening, and i even grabbed some coordinates from geocaching.com for local caches...I cant wait to find my first geocache, perhaps this week sometime, or maybe Saturday, depending on whats happening.  I got to tal to a good friend of mine in texas Sunday afternoon. A family of absolutle pigs destroyed his rental property, so he has been busy trying to repair all the damage and hopefully sell the place befpre too long, I wish him the best of luck, and I wish I was there to help him.  I wish I was anywhere but here, this town and this state are slowly driving me insane....oh well......until next time...

Well, Its Sunday once again, that means tomorrow is.....no, please dont say it.....well alright....Minday....  The weekends seem to go so fast. We had company friday night and ended playing cards until well after midnight, which was nice. They brought Guiness so I ended having a good time =) btw, WVU Mountaineers beat Kentucky to move on to the final four!!!! woo-hooo!!!! the final four starts next Saturday, it looks like they wil be playing Duke.......gonna be a difficult game but i think they will win...hoping so anyway =) It was too cold to mess with garden this weekend, hopefully i can do something with it this coming week, and I am going to update the maps etc on my GPS this evening and get ready for geocaching!! never done it as I said before but I should have alot of fun =) til next time....

Friday!!!!

Its friday once again, and I am SOOO looking forward to this weekend!!! my foot still hurts, but is feeling better, I need the next two days off to rest, been on ym feet constantly all week due to downsizing our store and repositioning all the shelves etc.  I am hoping to get started on my garden this weekend, re-organizing  my bedroom a bit...too much crap too little space...oh well, and I am also looking forward to getting started on more leather, and jewelry projects finally. I have been trying to sell handmade basic jewelry on etsy, under thebeastofold and occasionally ebay, under same name, have'nt sold anything yet, but I'm still positive.  I recently bought some much needed leather partd and supplies so I am eager to get started again, I am going to make some different shaped key fobs and maybe a few leather bracelets etc and see how that goes, if I sell those i can afford to buy the leather I need to start making messenger bags and the like, I'm also going to start makeing basic medicine bags that go around the neck, hopefully thoe will do well online as well.  I am also looking forward to doing some geocaching for the first time, I dug my gps's out of the black hole of overgaard...AKA my closet and i think i need to update the maps in one, and re-learn how to use the other one....its going to be a fun summer here for a change and i hope my foot and health wil be able to handle it...I'll make it fun if it kill sme ;) on a lighter note.....WVU Mountaineers men won again last night!!! woo-hoo...I'd love to see them go all the way...heres to hopeing (crosses fingers) well, its finally lunch time here and i'm running out of stuff to say so.....until next time....

Ive had a lovely couple of days....Ive got a healing sprained right ankle, I tweaked my left hip monday...thakn you monday :P and NOW, Icve got a gout attack in my left foot.....sigh.....havent slept for 2 days or so...Ive lost count....but at least they announced Tequila is good for you now!!!!! WOO HOO!!! Margarita friday is coming up in 3 days..cant wait!!! all this misery ive had hobbling around these last few days have given me a more positive attitude on life....hey..it could be worse....ya gotta count yer blessings when ya got em.... til next time =)

Health care reform....

Well... they managed to pass it...is it a good thing? is it a bad thing? can they fix all thats screwed up in the bill to the satisfaction of the masses?? will all the state threatened lawsuits keep things up in the air for the foreseeable future?? do i really need to worry either way?!?! I dont know yet, I have yet to wrap my head around it......we'll see what the future holds... the thing I wonder about is if you cant, for whatever reason afford health care in the forst place, and they fine you for not having it...how do they expect you to pay the fines??? what are they going to do with you then??? I guess time will tell......Ive got a headache now, and the dogs are bugging me for cookies...so g'nite all.....til next time...

My Mountaineers won!!! woo-hoo!!!! and i'm waiting for the health care reform vote....sigh,...actually, not really waiting, dont really care actually......nice quiet Sunday fro a change.....going out to play with the dogs before dinner...cheers...

Ahhh... its saturday once again, housework is almost done, it got too late and too dark to vacuum, i gues i'll do it tomorrow.  My allergies are absolutely KILLING me, I took an allergy pill and took a nap earlier and I had a dream i was in the show 2 and a half men... i was in the kitchen with charlie and there was a big pan on the stove with what looked like fried chicken frying but at closer inspection it was deep fried clown statuettes?!?!?! bizarre...... then i had a dream my parents were argueing about u-hauls...double bizarre...whatever is in those allergy pills I wanna order it by the case ;)    until next time....

Well Well Well...its.................FRIDAY!!!!!!!     woo-hoo!!!!! finally, another weekend is upon us, 2 days of rest before the start of a brand new week =) ya right, rest, my nose...I get to go home tonight, and clean house!! yay!!!, my idea of a rockin friday night =) of course one of my favorite shows, Numb3rs is on tonight, weel, a rerun thereof anyway, seeing as the season finale was last week......oh well, no rest for the weary i guess....more good news....the West Virginia Mountaineers won today CHEER!!! I have a soft spot for Morgantown WV even tho I only lived there for 4 years back in the mid to late 80's. But it still remains my favorite place to live, I hope i can move back there someday, even tho its changed quite a bit since my day.  Today is allergy day, Ive been sneezing my brains out and sniffeling, sore throat etc, in other words, I'm dieing. My ankle feels much better, I actually walked the dogs the other night, the weather has been so nice recently I had to get out of the house.  Well, its 4:23 and I close the storee at 4:30, I have to go to the store, the bank, them home to work =) I'm going to try to get everything done and take sunday off, its never worked before, but i keep trying =)

aaahhh... tis thursday, one more day until the weekend =) woo-hoo. Not alot going on today, actually, pretty quiet today, boss is out of town for the next 2 days so i get the place all to meself...weee!!!  i got really board and grabbed the digital camera we keep here and took a bunch of stupid looking pics of my self and anything else i could think of...i posted one of them to my profile...heres another silly one...

Happy Saint Patricks day everyone!!! and also happy hump day!! yes, its wednesday once again, and once again we begin the slide to the weekend, I'm looking forward to going home in 10 minutes and have a few guinness to celebrate today.  til next time....er post.....er whatever....:P

I had to open my BIG mouth...

in my last post, i mentioned something about breaking the monotony?!?! well, i got my wish, we've decided to give up half of our home and office supply store to the gym next door. They are taking the back half to expand their yoga rooms etc into, and we are getting rid of most of the sonsignment stuff in here, including the big furniture and going back to mosly office supplies.  Its been a frenzy of reorganization and rearranging today....sigh....my aforementioned sprained ankle is freakin killing me... I think this is going to be a 2 Guinness night....ask and ye shall receive i guess ;)  Until next time

First Blog posting....yay...

I'm sitting here at work once again and decided this would be the perfect time to post...oops, interrupted by paying customers...always an inopportune moment, anyway...perfect time to post my first blog, not alot going on, except i'm bored to tears once again, life has become to monotonous as of late, need to shake things up a bit...gee another customer..2 in one week, a new record for this winter....anyway, I recently rediscovered my nintendo WII and playstation 2, I've been playing twilight princess, mario galaxy, and final fantasy X. and Ive also started my pre spring cleaning and house painting projects, hope the weather holds up and stays nice, I really want to start biking and hiking etc again, but unfortunately i severely sprained my ankle a couple weekends ago so I'm still hobbling around with a cane, hiking and biking will have to wait, but chores wait for no man :P til next time, gentle readers, I bid thee Adeau, adiou, adoo, however its spelled ;)
